What does made to order mean?

Made to order means each item is specifically made for you. This means no over production and no waste. Another massive benefit is that you can make small adjustments to the lengths of the items - sleeve, hem etc. If you want me to make any adjustments please do this via clicking the add "note to order” box at the checkout.

How do I place my order?

Please place your order through the website. The items currently available for sale will be available for purchase on the website. If you have discussed any changes to an item with me directly (such as colour, fabric, size, measurements etc), please add a “note to order” by clicking the box at the checkout and insert a note about we discussed. If you forget to do this, the item produced will not reflect what we have discussed.

Can I make any changes to the size?

You can make small changes to the length of sleeves, and the length of the hem. Again, please do this by adding a "note to order" at the checkout. Any changes of 5cm or less are included for free. If you want changes bigger than this, please contact me via email or social media before placing your order to discuss if this is possible.

How do I know what size to pick?

On the webpage for each item there is a size guide. These measurements should be really easy to check against yourself. So its clear:

  • Chest size - this is the total circumference of the item around the middle of your chest.
  • Length - either front or back neck to hem (the applicable one will be specified on the item's webpage).
  • Sleeve length - the tip of your shoulder to the end of your sleeve.

My sizes are generally slightly bigger than your average, as they have an oversized fit, so please check the measurements before ordering. If you want to tweak (by less than 5cm) any of these measurements, you can by adding a "note to order" at the checkout.

How do I know what the fabric is like?

I pride myself on trying to use only the best fabrics available. Unfortunately, images can often not do the fabric justice but I try and put as many images on the item's webpage as possible so you can an idea for the quality of the fabric. If you ever want to see a fabric swatch before ordering please email me or contact my via social media and I can send one out to you.

How long will my item take to be made up?

I list the current estimated production time on my home page (in the top banner). If you would like me to give you a more specific deadline or are wondering if your order will arrive for a certain date, please reach out to me via email or social media.

Can I return my item?

As each item is made to order and available for altering to fit you specifically, sadly I don’t accept returns. However, I want to make sure you fall in love with your items and my clothing generally and so if you are really unhappy please reach out to me via email or social media and I will do what I can to help you.

Will “sold out” items be restocked?

If the item is still listed on the website I will be aiming to restock the item/make it available again when I have sourced more or new fabric. I use a lot of dead stock fabric (which helps limit waste) but often this comes with limited quantities so sometimes there’s only a very small amount of each item available.

What sizes do you go up to?

The largest size is currently women's size 16/18. In the future I will have more sizes available however I want to do this when I’m in a position to conduct proper fitting sessions.

Please always check the applicable size guide as the fit of each item is oversized and so you may well find the size your looking for.
